A Conversation with Sandy Weisman and Dudley Zopp

Sandy Weisman and Dudley Zopp get together for an evening of conversation about their shared passion for geology. They will have questions for each other and for you as well. Why are ancient rocks the teachers we need for our troubled times? How does geology inspire poetry, painting and printmaking? If you want to learn more about how the earth came into being, where should you go, and what’s the first book you should read?

In search of answers, Sandy’s travels have taken her across the country from Vermont to the ridges and valleys of the Southwest. Dudley’s deep dive into the granite geologies of coastal Maine is informed by her early grounding in the sedimentary landscapes of the Bluegrass.

Sandy and Dudley  look forward to sharing all this and more with you!
