Join us for a poetry reading by New Jersey poets Barbara O’Dair and Frank Rubino.

Barbara O’Dair received her Master’s in Poetry from The MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, North Carolina. Her work was selected by the late Thomas Lux as winner of the Mudfish poetry prize and was recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her poems have been published in print and online journals including Alaska Quarterly, MER, Nerve, Semiotexte, and Wisconsin Review. O’Dair is the editor of two books of essays, Trouble Girls: The Rolling Stone Book of Women in Rock and Caught Looking: Feminism, Censorship, and Pornography, and her own essays and criticism have appeared in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, the Village Voice, and elsewhere. She lives in Montclair, NJ, with her husband, also a poet; they share four young adult children.

Frank Rubino is the author of Frank’s Lunch Service (Lithic Press, 2025). His poems have appeared in The Platform Review, Disquieting Muses Quarterly, Thimble, Aesthetic Apostle, The World, and Vending Machine. He was the featured poet in The Red Wheelbarrow 14 (2020). He co-hosts the Red Wheelbarrow Poets workshop and co-edits the group’s yearly anthology. He lives in New Jersey.
